Peregrine Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Resident Care Aide to assist memory-impaired residents with bathing, grooming, and dressing, while promoting independence and dignity. The role requires compassion for the elderly and adherence to residents’ rights, with documentation of care and reporting of changes to supervisors.

High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA/HHA/PCA certification preferred or as required by law, with about one year of caregiving experience preferred.

Responsabilités

Schedule: Full Time & Part Time

Salary: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour, based on experience.

We are currently seeking an energetic and dedicated Resident Care Aide.

Resident Care Aide Responsibilities include:

• Assisting our memory impaired residents to complete tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing while maintaining the residents’ dignity and promoting their independence

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights

• Maintain and document proper records of care

• Immediately report changes in resident’s condition to the supervisor:evidence of illness, changes in behavior, personal care needs not being met, medication issues, residents’ whereabouts unknown, etc.

• Promote and encourage residents to participate in community activities

Resident Care Aide Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

• Certified Nursing Assistant-CNA, Home Health Aide-HHA, or Personal Care Aide-PCA certification preferred or as required by law

• One year working in a care giving capacity preferred

• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly required
