Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living is seeking an energetic Resident Care Aide to assist memory-impaired residents with daily tasks while maintaining dignity and independence. Training and certifications are preferred; compassionate individuals are encouraged to apply. Join a team dedicated to high-quality elderly care.

Work is part-time, 7am-3pm, with every other weekend. The role emphasizes compassionate caregiving, documentation accuracy, and participation in community activities within Peregrine Senior

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA/HHA/PCA certification preferred or as required by law.
• One year working in a caregiving capacity preferred.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly required.

Responsibilities

• Assist memory-impaired residents with bathing, grooming and dressing while maintaining dignity and promoting independence.
• Ensure compliance with regulations regarding residents' rights.
• Maintain and document proper records of care.
• Report changes in residents' condition promptly to supervisor.
• Promote participation in community activities.

We are currently seeking an energetic and dedicatedResident Care Aide.

Resident Care Aide Responsibilities include:

• Assisting our memory impaired residents to complete tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing while maintaining the residents' dignity and promoting their independence
• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents' rights
• Maintain and document proper records of care
• Immediately report changes in resident's condition to the supervisor:evidence of illness, changes in behavior, personal care needs not being met, medication issues, residents' whereabouts unknown, etc.
• Promote and encourage residents to participate in community activities

Resident Care Aide Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant-CNA, Home Health Aide-HHA, or Personal Care Aide-PCA certification preferred or as required by law
• One year working in a care giving capacity preferred
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly required
