Job summary

PACS is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care to residents in a post-acute setting. You will assist with daily activities, monitor patient conditions, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment under supervision.

Requirements include a valid CNA license per state regulations; CPR is preferred. Strong communication and ability to follow established policies are essential for this on-site role.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CNA license per state regulations.
• CPR certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before providing care using wristband/photo ID.
• Follow policies on privacy and confidentiality of resident information.
• Report changes in a resident’s condition to supervisor promptly.
• Record entries accurately on charts and flow sheets.
• Assist with daily activities including meals, mobility, and personal care.
• Prepare resident room and belongings for admissions, transfers, or discharge.
• Assist with feeding, bathing, grooming, and routine nursing tasks as trained.
• Ensure safety by applying proper body mechanics and reporting any unsafe situations.
• Observe residents for signs of pressure ulcers or skin breakdown and report.
