Job summary

Viva Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Associate for 1st shift in the Nursing department. You will provide direct care, report changes in residents’ conditions, and assist with daily living activities while adhering to the Resident Bill of Rights and facility policies.

Responsibilities include assisting with transfers, communicating effectively with residents and staff, and ensuring safety and infection control procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must adhere to all facility policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents and communicate changes in residents' condition to the Resident Care Director.
• Assist residents with lifts, moves, and transports using proper body mechanics.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from residents, visitors, and staff within policy timeframes.
• Follow individualized care plans and support residents according to their care plan.
• Maintain residents' rights and report any abuse or violations promptly.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures and maintain skin integrity for residents.
