Zusammenfassung

Viva Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Associate to provide compassionate, direct care to residents and support continuity of care. You will report changes in residents’ conditions to the Resident Care Director, assist with lifts and transfers, and respond promptly to inquiries from residents and families.

You will follow individualized care plans, maintain privacy, and participate in safety drills to ensure a safe, homelike environment for residents and staff alike.

Qualifikationen

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to work well with peers in a congenial work environment, and maintain compassion and dignity to residents.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct care to residents and report changes to the Resident Care Director.
• Assist residents with lifts, moves, and transports using proper body mechanics.
• Respond to inquiries from residents, visitors, and staff promptly within policy.
• Follow individualized care plans and provide support to residents per those plans.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, peers, and supervisors to promote a homelike environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and report any abuse, neglect, or policy violations.
• Participate in safety training and drills and assist with emergency plans.
