Job summary

Viva Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Associate in our Nursing department. You will provide direct care, assist with mobility, and support residents per individualized plans in a compassionate, compliant environment.

Ideal candidates will have a High school diploma or GED and complete Personal Care Aide training. English proficiency and teamwork are essential for resident safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the Personal Care Aide Course per Pennsylvania regulations.
• Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or a GED
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents and report changes in condition to the Resident Care Director.
• Assist residents with lifts, moves, and transports using proper body mechanics or lifting devices.
• Respond promptly and courteously to inquiries from residents, visitors, and staff.
• Follow individualized care plans and provide support as outlined by care plans.
• Promote a homelike environment and respectful interactions with residents and families.
• Maintain confidentiality and report any abuse or safety concerns per policy.
