Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must maintain compassion and dignity for residents.
• Attendance per Employee Handbook policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents and communicate changes in condition to the Resident Care Director.
• Assist residents with lifts, moves, and transports using proper body mechanics.
• Respond to resident and visitor inquiries promptly within policy.
• Follow individualized care plans and assist with care planning with nurses.
• Promote a homelike environment and effective resident/family communication.
• Report incidents of abuse or rights violations promptly.
• Adhere to safety and infection control procedures, including hand washing and PPE.
• Arrive on time and perform other related duties as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of Protected Health Information.
