Job summary

St. Gabriel's Community in Wisconsin La Crosse is seeking a Resident Assistant for a part-time day shift to support residents with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help sustain a safe, caring environment.

You will document observations, assist with onboarding of new Associates, and collaborate with the care team to address residents' needs, while maintaining clear communication and promoting dignity.

Qualifications

• Must complete and maintain assigned medication administration training program and competencies.
• Must be 18 to operate lift equipment per statute.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to prioritize tasks independently
• Have excellent communication skills
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English
• BLS Certification.

Schedule: Part-time Morning/Days, 6:00am-2:00pm and 6:00am-11:00am

Experience in Assisted Living or Direct Careis preferred, including roles such as:

• Caregiver
• Resident Assistant
• Direct Support Professional
• CNA/ Home Health Aide
• PCA
• Dietary/Culinary
• Wellness/Activities Assistant
• Volunteer experience
• Other customer service-focused positions

Previous direct care experience is highly desirable.
