Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities, LLC in Council Bluffs, IA, is hiring a Resident Assistant to provide basic care and assist residents with daily living activities, personal hygiene, dressing, and meal services.

The RA will collaborate with the nursing team, families, and healthcare professionals to support residents' physical and emotional well-being, with weekend and holiday shifts on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Current Nursing Assistant certificate as per state regulations.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s and related memory impairments preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to work as a team.
• Able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic care to residents, including personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Assist with meals, housekeeping, laundry, and social activities.
• Support nursing staff and coordinate with families and medical professionals.
