Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities in Council Bluffs, IA invites you to join as a Resident Assistant, delivering basic resident care and assisting with daily living activities in a compassionate team environment.

You will support personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, meals and social activities, while coordinating with the nursing team and families to promote residents' well-being and independence.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living environment is preferred.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s Disease, other dementias and related memory impairments is preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to work as a team.
• Able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic care to residents and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, meal services and social-recreational activities.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, other departments, medical professionals, residents and families to promote residents’ well-being.
