Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Resident Assistant to provide basic care and assist residents with daily living activities in a warm, supportive setting. The RA will help with personal hygiene, dressing, meals, light housekeeping, and social-recreational activities, collaborating with the nursing team to ensure comfort and safety.

Available shifts include days, evenings, and nights, with opportunities for full-time or part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant or State Trained Nursing Assistant per state regulations.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations.
• Knowledge of elder care needs and dementia care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic care to residents, including personal hygiene and dressing.
• Assist with activities of daily living and daily living tasks such as housekeeping, laundry, and meals.
• Support residents in social and recreational activities and measure well-being alongside the nursing team.
• Collaborate with nursing and other staff to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care.
• Interact with residents and families in a respectful, empathetic manner.
