Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant to provide basic care and assist residents with daily living activities in a long-term care setting.

The RA will support personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, meals, and social activities while collaborating with the nursing team to ensure the highest well-being of residents. Weekend and holiday rotations are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a long-term care or assisted living environment preferred.
• Current Nursing Assistant certification or state-trained NA per state regulations.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s Disease and dementias preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to work as a team.
• Able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic care to residents and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, meals, and social activities.
• Support nursing department and other staff to promote residents’ well-being.
• Collaborate with residents and families to ensure compassionate care.
