Job summary

Morning Pointe Memory Care Communities seeks a compassionate Resident Assistant/CNA to support residents in daily living activities within a caring, secure environment that honors dignity and independence. You will engage residents, work with a team, and contribute to meaningful experiences for those in memory care.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and assist with activities of daily living.
• Able to stand for long periods while caring for residents.
• Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily living activities to meet residents' physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, laundry, bed making and related duties.
• Help residents with meals and snacks and assist with setup and serving as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as necessary.

The Typical Work Of a Resident Assistant Can Include

• Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
• This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
• Assist residents with meals and snacks
• Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary
• Housekeeping duties as necessary
