Morning Pointe Senior Living is seeking a Resident Assistant/CNA for our Memory Care community. You will provide daily living assistance, ensure resident safety, and support activities that enhance wellbeing with dignity and respect.

The ideal candidate enjoys caring for others, can stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and communicates clearly. We offer meaningful work, insurance, retirement benefits, paid time off, and employee assistance programs.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
• This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
• Assist residents with meals and snacks
• Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary
• Housekeeping duties as necessary

Resident Assistants/CNAs are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, Resident Assistants participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a Resident Assistant can include:
