Job summary

Morning Pointe Assisted Living in Knoxville is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant/CNA to care for residents. You will assist with daily living activities, help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals, and support a compassionate team in a secure, resident-focused environment. The role emphasizes dignity, respect, and timely assistance in a senior living setting. A strong, caring attitude and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Reading, writing and basic math and verbal communication skills.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living to meet residents' physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care.
• Assist residents with meals and snacks; setup, service and feeding if necessary.
• Housekeeping duties as necessary.

Resident Assistants/CNAs are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, Resident Assistants participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a Resident Assistant can include:

1. Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
