Morning Pointe Memory Care is seeking a Resident Assistant/CNA for 1st and 2nd shifts to support residents with daily activities and care needs in a compassionate, respectful environment.

You will perform tasks related to activities of daily living, work as part of a team, and participate in ongoing training and development within a resident-centered setting. A positive attitude and reliable transportation are important.

Qualifications

• Must have a can-do attitude and enjoy caring for others.
• Reading, writing and basic math and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods; minimum age 18.

Responsabilités

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living to meet residents' physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, laundry and light housekeeping.
• Assist residents with meals and setup/feeding when necessary; support dignity and respect.

Resident Assistants/CNAs are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, Resident Assistants participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need.

The typical work of a Resident Assistant can include:

1. Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
2. This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
3. Assist residents with meals and snacks
4. Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary
5. Housekeeping duties as necessary
