Job summary

Morning Pointe Senior Living is seeking a Resident Assistant/CNA for 1st or 2nd shift to help provide daily care for residents in assisted living. The role focuses on daily living activities, dignity, and comfort in a hospitality-forward environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, meals, and basic housekeeping, while upholding safety and respectful care. Requirements include being 18+, physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to read and write.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living for residents with respect and dignity.
• Assist residents with meals and snacks.
• Assist with setup, service and feeding as necessary.
• Housekeeping duties as necessary.
• Support daily living activities to promote independent quality of life.

Resident Assistants/CNAs are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, Resident Assistants participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a Resident Assistant can include:

1. Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
2. This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
3. Assist residents with meals and snacks
4. Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary
5. Housekeeping duties as necessary
