Job summary

Morning Pointe Senior Living is seeking a Resident Assistant/CNA for 2nd shift, full-time, with every other weekend. You will provide daily living assistance, support residents with meals, grooming, and activities, and contribute to a respectful, caring community.

Qualifications

• Can-do attitude and caring nature.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living to meet residents' physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, laundry, bed making and other care duties.
• Assist residents with meals and snacks; assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary.
• Perform housekeeping duties as necessary.

Resident Assistants/CNAs are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, Resident Assistants participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a Resident Assistant can include:

1. Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity


2. This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care


3. Assist residents with meals and snacks


4. Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary


5. Housekeeping duties as necessary
