Great Lakes Management seeks a Resident Assistant for AM 6am-2:30pm and NOC 10:30pm-7am shifts in West Saint Paul, MN. You will provide hands-on care, assist with ADLs, and support residents’ daily activities in a caring environment.

The role requires compassion, reliable communication, and teamwork. Pay ranges from $19 to $23 per hour, with shift differentials and a 401(k) match offered. Prior long-term care experience is preferred, CNA certification encouraged.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence (Preferred).
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aid or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident's best interests.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with ADL's as indicated on the individualized service agreement.
• Help each resident to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement.
• The Resident Assistant observes clients and reports changes in physical and emotional condition to the casemanager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, communication book, etc.

Resident Assistant Job Objective(s):

The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing hands -on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident's service agreement. R esponsible for effectively communicating with residents, families, and notifying the case manager of any changes in condition or concerns. The Resident Assistant assist s in the dining room and participating in activities and outings .
