Location: Cedarhurst of Beaumont

Overview: Cedarhurst of Beaumont, a regional healthcare provider and a true friend of older adults, seeks a service-minded, career-oriented individual to join our team as a Resident Assistant. You will assist residents with personal care needs, enabling them to maintain hygiene, participate in daily activities, and stay healthy.

Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting residents with personal care such as grooming, hygiene, dressing, and nutrition.
2. Responding promptly to signal lights, bells, or intercom calls to meet residents' needs.
3. Monitoring health indicators like temperature, blood pressure, and respiration, as directed.
4. Transporting residents and assisting with mobility, including turning or repositioning.
5. Changing linens, running errands, managing visitors, and answering calls.
6. Supporting laundry and housekeeping duties.
7. Assisting with meals and helping residents to and from dining areas.
8. Encouraging participation in activities and supporting emotional wellbeing.
9. Understanding and respecting residents' Advance Directives and wishes.
10. Communicating effectively with residents' families about care and wellbeing.
11. Collaborating with team members and managing conflicts professionally.
12. Performing physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds independently and up to 200 pounds with assistance.
13. Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience as a Resident Assistant is preferred.
• Proficiency in internet browsers, Microsoft Office, EHR systems, and HR systems is desirable.
