Job summary

Great Lakes Management (GLM) is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant to provide hands-on care in our long-term care setting. You will assist residents with ADLs, support daily activities, and help with dining and outings, while communicating with families and the care team.

We offer varied hours (PT AM, FT PM, casual), pay range $18.00–$24.00 hourly, shift differentials, 401(k) match, daily pay options, and a complimentary chef-prepared meal each shift.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living (Preferred).
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or CNA (Preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices and act in the resident's best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADL’s per the individualized service agreement.
• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of independence.
• Provide residents with physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the service agreement.
• Observe clients and report changes to the case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required daily documentation, service schedule, and records.

Resident AssistantJob Objective(s):
