PACS seeks an Activity Assistant in Lake Havasu City, AZ to support the Executive Director in designing an engaging activities program aligned with residents’ needs and safety standards. The role involves facilitating individual and group activities, coordinating schedules, and ensuring smooth communication across staff and families.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and prefer one year of long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical procedures and policy manuals.
• Effective presentation of information and responses to questions from managers and staff.

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning and conducting activities for individuals and groups.
• Help communicate with residents, families, staff, and external agencies.
• Assist in developing monthly activity calendars and maintaining attendance.
• Assist in scheduling transportation for residents as needed.
• Encourage participation in activities and provide materials such as Braille/audio books when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized Activity Department and assist with care plans and assessments.
