Job summary

MediLodge of Midland in Michigan is seeking a Resident Activity Assistant to plan and lead engaging programs, in one‑to‑one and group formats, enhancing well‑being and social connection for residents.

You will document participation in medical records and collaborate with the activity director and other disciplines to support individualized care. Experience with activity therapies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists the resident activity director as needed.
• Leads and participates in individual and group activities.
• Fosters a sense of community within the center environment.
• Develops and posts monthly calendar for residents and families.
• Performs activities documentation in medical records and tracks participation.
• Supports decorating for events and seasonal parties.
• Uses various activity models (pets, music, art) to tailor plans.
• Promotes volunteer involvement in the community.
