MediLodge of Livingston is hiring an Activities Aide to organize and participate in person-centered activity programming for residents. You will document participation and tailor activities to individual needs, promoting resident well-being and engagement within a caring senior living environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, compassionate communication, and commitment to enhancing quality of life for residents in our facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist the activity director as needed and support resident programming.
• Create and facilitate individual, small group and large group activities.
• Use diverse modalities (music, art, pet therapy) to engage residents.
• Develop and post monthly activity calendars for residents and families.
• Decorate and help prepare for special events and seasonal activities.
• Document participation and outcomes in resident records.
• Foster a sense of community and resident engagement within the center.
• Promote community involvement and volunteer opportunities.
