PruittHealth in Marietta, GA is seeking an Activities Assistant to plan, implement, and evaluate recreational and social programs for residents. You will assess resident interests, coordinate with the care team, and adapt activities to individual needs and rights, including those confined to rooms.

You will schedule activities across morning, afternoon, evening, and weekends, and assist in communicating calendars and coordinating transportation when needed.

Formación

• Requires minimum two (2) years college education with courses in recreation, education, social work, other behavioral sciences or clinical services.
• Two (2) years’ experience in a social or recreational program within the past five years, with one year full-time employment in a patient/resident activities program in a health care setting.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs.
• Interviews residents and family members to develop individualized programs.
• Develops and updates activity plans as needed to reflect resident interests and rights.
