Responsibilities

• Interview residents and families to develop individualized recreation programs.
• Update recreation programs to meet needs and protect residents’ rights.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and evaluate the care plan.
• Schedule activities across mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
• Provide activities for cognitively impaired residents with adaptive methods.
• Record progress notes and audit chart entries for accuracy.
• Participate in budget discussions and staffing planning.
