Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking an Activities Director HCC to lead the recreation program focused on improving residents' physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being. You will design activities, manage staff, and allocate resources in alignment with the facility’s philosophy.

The role requires coordinating monthly calendars, planning events, and ensuring residents are informed of activities while maintaining a high standard of care and collaboration with the Administrator.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years college education with courses in recreation, education, social work or related behavioral sciences.
• Two (2) years’ experience in a social or recreational program within the past five years, with supervisory duties preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gathers information to design Recreation programs tailored to each resident’s needs and interests.
• Develops and provides individual and group activities at varied times to fit residents’ schedules.
• Hires, trains, and evaluates staff to ensure high-quality recreation services.
