Pruitthealth Corporation is seeking an Activities Assistant to plan, implement and evaluate recreational and social programs for residents under the care plan. You will interview residents and families, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, and schedule activities across various times and locations.

You will adapt activities for cognitive impairment, document progress, and support resident rights while contributing to care conferences and budget considerations.

Qualifikationen

• Requires minimum two years college education with courses in recreation, education, social work, or other behavioral sciences.

Aufgaben

• Conducts assessments to develop individualized recreation programs.
• Updates Recreation programs to reflect residents' needs and rights.
• Works with the care team to implement and evaluate the care plan.
• Schedules activities across mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
• Provides activities for residents confined to rooms reflecting lifelong interests.
• Adapts activities for cognitively impaired residents and uses prompts or hand-over-hand assistance as needed.
• Ensures residents are informed about activities and transportation is provided.
• Records progress notes and participates in quality assessments.
