Job summary

Columbus State Community College is seeking a Residency Specialist to support students on Ohio residency for tuition and other student records tasks. You will assist via electronic, phone, and in-person channels and work with other departments to ensure consistent information delivery.

The role requires strong customer service, knowledge of residency guidelines, and proficiency with college systems. It is a full-time, on-site position located at Columbus campuses with a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three years of progressively responsible clerical experience.
• Ability to use student information and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Certify in-state tuition for eligible students.
• Explain Ohio residency requirements and college policies.
• Assist with admissions, financial aid and enrollment processes.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records.
• Provide outreach and information to campus departments and students.
