Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Residency Program Coordinator to manage daily operations of the Medical Center residency program and assist the program director. You will liaise with trainees, coordinate recruitment, orientation, and graduation processes, and support accreditation activities.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with one year of experience or equivalent, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of ACGME requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with one year experience in the field or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiar with ACGME requirements and program accreditation processes.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and residency program operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of a Medical Center residency program and support program director.
• Serve as liaison for trainees and ongoing program activities.
• Coordinate recruitment, orientation, and graduation processes for residents and fellows.
• Prepare documents for ACGME site visits and program reviews.
• Administer HR activities related to residents, including promotions and leave documentation.
• Schedule educational conferences and committee meetings.
• Monitor residency program budget and coordinate interfaces with Medical Staff office.
