Job summary

Advocate Health in North Carolina seeks a Residency Program Coordinator to manage the daily operations of a Medical Center residency program, coordinating recruitment, orientation, and graduation while ensuring compliance with ACGME requirements.

The role provides administrative support to the program director and residents, maintains records, coordinates budgets and meetings, and supports HR activities related to the residency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with one year experience in the field or related area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: N/A

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations of a Medical Center residency program and serves as liaison for trainees and activities.
• Provides administrative support to program director and residents including policies and procedures.
• Understands ACGME requirements and analyzes changes as needed.
• Coordinates completion of PIF for ACGME site review and maintains program records.
• Coordinates recruitment, orientation, and graduation processes; manages ERAS, NRMP, and San Francisco Match.
• May conduct resident orientations and oversee resident rotation schedules.
• Develops and maintains resident and alumni educational records.
• Conducts annual compliance training and evaluates residency performance as required by ACGME.
• Coordinates HR activities including promotions, verifications, vacations, and leave documentation; initiates contracts with Medical Staff office.
• Schedules, coordinates, and participates in educational conferences and committee meetings.
• Monitors and reconciles residency program budget.
• Serves as contact for planning committees.
