Job summary

Atrium Health in High Point, NC seeks an Education/Program Administrator to oversee the Medical Center residency program operations and act as a liaison for trainees and faculty.

This role ensures ACGME compliance, coordinates PIFs for site reviews, handles ERAS/NRMP processes, and supports recruitment, orientation, graduation, and program records with an emphasis on accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with one year experience in the field or related area; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations of a Medical Center residency program.
• Assists program director by serving as a liaison for the program trainees and ongoing program activities.
• Provides administrative support to program director and residents including program policies and procedures.
• Understands ACGME requirements for program requirements and suggests changes/modifications.
• Coordinates completion of PIF for ACGME site review and internal GME program review; maintains program records for accreditation.
• Coordinates recruitment, orientation, and graduation processes; uses ERAS and NRMP/San Francisco Match.
• May conduct resident orientations and oversee resident rotation schedules.
• Develops and maintains resident and alumni educational records.
• Conducts annual compliance training and administers evaluations per ACGME.
• Coordinates HR activities: promotions, verifications, vacation, sick leave, and leave of absence documentation; initiates contracts with Medical Staff.
• Schedules, coordinates, and participates in educational conferences and committee meetings.
• Monitors and reconciles residency program budget.
• Serves as contact for planning committees.
