Job summary

Central Neighborhood Health Foundation seeks a Medical Assistant/Residency Program Scheduler in the Los Angeles area to coordinate residency scheduling, rotations, conferences, and educational activities under the Program Director.

You will maintain schedules, communicate with residents and sites, ensure adherence to ACGME and HIPAA requirements, and travel to clinical sites as needed to support program operations.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistance certification program.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • 1–2 years of experience in graduate medical education, academic medicine, healthcare scheduling, or related administrative setting.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and prioritize a diverse scheduling workload with deadlines.
  • Develop and distribute resident and faculty schedules in coordination with the Program Director and leadership.
  • Coordinate resident rotation assignments, clinic schedules, call schedules, conferences, and didactic sessions.
  • Monitor schedules for coverage, conflicts, availability, and changes; resolve scheduling issues promptly.
  • Maintain scheduling records and assist with duty hour and compliance requirements.
