Job summary

UC Irvine is seeking an experienced education program administrator to manage residency education within the Department of Radiation Oncology. You will coordinate accreditation programs, support learners, and liaise with affiliate sites to ensure compliant, high-quality education.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with curricula, assessment and administrative systems. Hybrid work arrangements are available; travel or rotations may be required.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of ACGME, CAMPEP & AAAPM program requirements.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant policies and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication skills; verbal, written and active listening.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, initiative, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage extremely complex calendars/schedules.
• Knowledge of educational technology and systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and video conferencing platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in Healthcare Administration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all residency programs within the Department of Radiation Oncology in line with ACGME and CAMPEP requirements.
• Support health professions education programs for residents and other learners in curriculum, assessments, scheduling and core competencies.
• Lead liaison activities among affiliate sites and GME offices; oversee program audits and evaluations.
• Provide full administrative support to Program Directors and Residents; manage purchases, reimbursements, and travel via institutional systems.
• Assist in faculty and resident recruitment, onboarding, and, as needed, clinic shadowing arrangements.
