Job summary

UC Irvine's Department of Urology is seeking an Education Manager to coordinate professional health education programs, manage residency, fellowship, CME, and medical student education, and oversee curriculum resources.

Reporting to the Operations Administrator, you will lead education staff, ensure accreditation compliance, monitor learner progress, and drive process improvements for operational excellence. Weekend and after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of experience.
• Experience leading or supervising a team.
• Strong oral and written communication, critical thinking.
• Knowledge of medical education principles and accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate educational activities for residency, fellowship, CME, and learner education.
• Support program directors, faculty, and education coordinators in management and direction of learning programs.
• Maintain curriculum resources and ensure accreditation compliance.
• Supervise education staff and oversee day-to-day education operations.
• Plan and coordinate educational events, including conferences and workshops, with budget tracking and post-event evaluation.
