Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of department, HR and university policies and processes.
• Current knowledge of relevant industry federal, state and local laws and regulations including national accrediting organizations and state and federal licensing and regulatory offices.
• Knowledge of the health professions education industry, administrative analysis and operations research.
• Knowledge of assigned program requirements and curriculum.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively to meet deadlines in a complex, challenging environment.
• Ability to share knowledge with team members in an efficient and effective manner.
• Skills to evaluate issues and identify solutions within defined procedures and policies.
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems and suggest solutions through critical thinking process.
• Effective oral and written communication skills with technical writing skills sufficient to compose a variety of scientific documents, reports, budgets and justifications which are clear, concise, logical and display syntax and grammar.
• Ability to act independently with demonstrated problem-solving skills, multi-task and to follow through on assignments with minimal direction.
• Excellent organizational skills, analytical, and demonstrated attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate trainee rotations to optimize educational experiences.
• Manage and administer online evaluation systems.
• Serve as the primary contact person for logistical and programmatic support.
• Ensure that all program activities are organized and documented in compliance with ACGME and UCI GME requirements.
• Maintain the residency program budget and department’s residency webpages.
• Facilitate the annual recruitment process and orientation activities for new trainees.
