Job summary

University of California, Irvine is seeking an Education and Community Programs Manager to coordinate professional health education programs, plan and manage events, and support residency, CME and related educational activities.

This role requires strong knowledge of health professions education, curriculum administration, and data management, with leadership responsibilities and collaboration across departments. Weekend and after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
• Master's degree in related area preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience.
• Previous experience leading or supervising a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate professional health education programs and plan events.
• Oversee logistics, venue coordination, vendor management and registration.
• Manage curriculum, resources, and learner scheduling across programs.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards and supervise staff.
