Job summary

WellLife Network in Brooklyn, NY invites applications for a Residence Manager Assistant position at Selinger at Chestnut. You will assist the Residence Manager with daily operations, maintain consumer records, and coordinate communication with day programs and outside providers.

You will supervise direct care staff, model professional conduct, and ensure compliance with OPWDD guidelines. A working knowledge of Outlook, MS Office, and Excel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services or related field; associate degree acceptable.
• Experience in supervisory role and/or with DD populations.
• Working knowledge of computer systems (Outlook, MS Office, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Ensures activities support each consumer’s social responsibility, independence, dignity and growth.
• Assists Residence Manager in coordinating daily operations of the facility.
• Supervises direct care counselors and trains new staff via role modeling.
• Maintains consumer records in Avatar and completes daily census and EMAR documentation.
• Acts as liaison with families and community contacts; participates in meetings and trainings.
