Job summary

WellLife Network in Holliswood, NY is seeking a Residence Coordinator to oversee daily staff assignments and ensure residence operations align with agency policies. The role provides comprehensive resident support to promote independence, skill development, and well-being.

Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Avatar data documentation is required. The position involves supervising direct support staff, implementing individualized goals, coordinating transportation and activities,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associates Degree preferred or a combination of education and experience.
• One to two years of experience working with the developmentally disabled is necessary.
• Supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Promote resident independence, dignity, social responsibility, and personal growth through supportive daily interactions.
• Implement individualized goals established by the IDT, including budgeting, grooming, nutritional planning, transportation training, community resource use, shopping, and housekeeping.
• Document consumer data in Avatar and monitor documentation accuracy.
• Provide daily supervision to DSPs, including reviewing documentation, assigning tasks, and staff training.
• Assist residents with personal needs and activities of daily living.
• Support residents in developing self-help and social skills.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team activities including assessment, planning, implementation, monitoring, and family communication.
• Administer medications and maintain required medical certifications.
• Coordinate and participate in recreational activities.
• Transport residents to appointments, activities, and programs as needed.
• Communicate updates to staff and supervisors through logs and reports.
• Assist in managing residents’ financial accounts as directed by Residence Manager.
• Attend trainings and perform duties aligned with DSP role.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
