Job summary

WellLife Network in New York, NY, is seeking a Residence Coordinator to support individuals with developmental disabilities in a community residence. You will coordinate daily staff assignments, oversee the residence, and ensure residents receive care that promotes independence.

You will document consumer data in Avatar, supervise DSPs, assist with daily living activities, transportation to appointments, and participate in interdisciplinary planning while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• One to two years experience working with the developmentally disabled is necessary.
• A valid NYS Driver’s license is required.
• Supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily staff assignments and oversee the Residence according to agency policy.
• Provide all aspects of care to program residents to enable independence and productivity.
• Enter consumer data documentation in Avatar and maintain records.
• Supervise DSPs, assign tasks, train and orient staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and self-help skills.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team planning and family communication.
• Assist in transporting residents to appointments and programming.
• Maintain confidentiality and document incidents and medication logs.
