Job summary

Independent Living Association NYC is seeking a Residence Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations across multiple residences in New York. You will supervise direct care staff, cooks, and maintenance, ensuring safety, sanitation, and quality support services.

You will partner with the Residence Supervisor to ensure staffing, train staff, conduct evaluations, manage payroll, and coordinate vendor and community activities for individuals receiving services.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience with the DD population.
• Must be computer literate and detail-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Direct Care Counselors, Cook and Maintenance staff and provide training as needed.
• Oversee daily operations and ensure safety and sanitation in residences.
• Complete performance evaluations with supervision and address employee relations issues.
• Coordinate staff scheduling, staffing coverage, and vacation approvals.
• Manage vendor relations and oversee petty cash and accounts.
• Participate in hiring events and onboarding with Recruitment Specialist.
• Lead staff in implementing treatment plans and IDT recommendations.
• Plan community inclusion activities and calendar for individuals.
