Job summary

Yavapai College is seeking Desk Assistants to support the Residence Life team across multiple campuses. The role includes greeting residents, lending hall equipment, answering questions, assisting with room lockouts, and maintaining a secure, clean living environment.

Candidates must be enrolled in at least 6 credits, reliable, with strong communication, time management, and the ability to work with a diverse student population. Training will be provided; hours up to 25 per week.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in at least 6 credits hours.
• All hiring documents must be completed prior to first work shift, including I-9 documentation.
• Ability to work with a diverse student population.
• Exhibit reliability and good customer service skills.
• Demonstrate time management and organizational skills.
• Demonstrate integrity and trustworthiness in interacting with others and college property.
• Maintain work area in a clean and organized manner.
• Adhere to FERPA guidelines and Housing Handbook policies.
• Attend DA Training and adhere to behavioral expectations.
