Job summary

Church World Service is seeking a Resettlement Program Officer to help implement and monitor resettlement programs, ensuring compliance and quality reporting. The role involves collaboration with the Resettlement team, data collection, and developing training materials for affiliates.

The position supports needs-based technical assistance, tools development, and regular engagement with partners. Domestic travel may be required; remote US-based with in-person responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years experience in local resettlement or national office.
• Experience with case management for newcomers.
• Strong data collection and management knowledge.
• Monitoring/evaluation knowledge preferred; federal grants familiarity.
• Ability to travel to affiliate sites; provide technical assistance.
• Excellent project and data management; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with program implementation and compliance with supervisor.
• Review and process reports submitted by local partners.
• Manage documentation for the Resettlement network and access to records.
• Support internal casefile reviews and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Help manage trackers and reporting for semi-annual/annual reports.
• Develop tools, resources, and training on resettlement for the network.
• Provide training and technical assistance remotely or on-site.
• Analyze funding guidelines to ensure agency compliance.
