Job summary

Skytop-Lodge in Skytop, PA is seeking a Reservations Agent to maximize bookings using effective selling techniques and available tools. The role requires self-motivation, sales-mindedness, and customer-focused processes to fit into a dynamic environment.

Reports to the Reservations Manager. Work is hybrid after training, with duties including taking calls, responding to emails, and processing reservations while maintaining a high level of guest service.

Qualifications

  • Good manners and professional speaking voice are essential.
  • Legible handwriting aids accurate guest information.
  • Excellent customer service skills expected.
  • Good typing skills for timely responses.
  • Basic computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist guests by booking future reservations.
  • Answer telephone calls and emails professionally.
  • Follow up with guest inquiry leads for second chances.
  • Process reservations via telephone, mail, fax or other mediums.
  • Provide accurate information to guests.

JOB TITLE: Reservations Agent

The Reservation Agents primary responsibility is to capture as many reservations as possible by utilizing effective selling techniques and all available tools. The ideal candidate would be self-motivated, sales-minded, customer-focused processes and the ability to merge into a dynamic work environment.

REPORTS TO

Reservations Manager

PRIMARY DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
  1. Assist guest by booking future reservations.
  2. Answer telephone calls and emails in a prescribed and professional manner.
  3. Promptly follow up with guest inquiry leads for second chance bookings.
  4. Process reservations through telephone, mail, fax or any other medium.
  5. Provide accurate information to the guest.
  6. Appearance should be sophisticated and friendly.
  7. Possess a positive and upbeat attitude at all times.
  8. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  9. Deliver the highest standard of service to all customers.
  10. Strong ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail.
RESPONSIBLE FOR

Keeping a neat and orderly work space.

SCHEDULE:

Must be able to work evenings (2pm-10pm) and weekends (no later than 7pm closing). Holidays are required.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT

Must live in the state of Pennsylvania.
