Job summary

Aqua Aston Hospitality (AAH) is seeking a Reservations Agent to sell hotel rooms over the phone, provide information, and assist with reservations and group lists. The role focuses on accurate input into the PMS and timely handling of guest inquiries, with casual, part-time hours and a competitive hourly wage.

Located in Honolulu, the position offers on-site work with benefits and opportunities for growth within Marriott Vacations Worldwide families.

Qualifications

• High School degree/diploma or equivalent additional experience.
• 1+ years of hospitality reservations experience.
• Computer proficiency and ability to operate facsimile and copy machines.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly and provide guests with hotel information and accommodations.
• Convert telephone inquiries into reservations maintaining acceptable performance statistics.
• Enter, confirm and modify telephone, facsimile and e-mail reservations.
• Assist with individual and group reservations in the system.
• Address guest and vendor questions or concerns independently.
• Assist with loading group rooming lists, assigning rooms, billing instructions and securing final payments.
• Process advance deposits.
• Perform daily reservations audit for the next day's arrivals.
• Process commissions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
