• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Day shifts preferred: 9–5 or 11–7.

Responsibilities

• Manage all reservations through OpenTable with accurate table allocation.
• Handle a high volume of incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online platforms.
• Provide warm, professional, and personalized service to all guests.
• Accommodate VIP guests and last-minute changes with discretion and attention to detail.
• Maintain up-to-date guest profiles, preferences, and notes in the reservation system.
• Communicate effectively with management, hosts, and floor staff to ensure seamless service flow.
• Monitor dining room pacing and reservation timing to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Job Title: Reservationist

Position Overview

We are seeking a polished, detail-oriented Reservationist to join our team at a high-end dining establishment. This role is the first point of contact for many of our guests and plays a critical part in delivering an exceptional hospitality experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, and experienced in managing a high volume of reservations and guest requests with efficiency and grace.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all reservations through OpenTable, ensuring accuracy and optimal table allocation
• Handle a high volume of incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online platforms
• Provide warm, professional, and personalized service to all guests
• Accommodate special requests, VIP guests, and last-minute changes with discretion and attention to detail
• Maintain up-to-date guest profiles, preferences, and notes in the reservation system
• Communicate effectively with management, hosts, and floor staff to ensure seamless service flow
• Monitor dining room pacing and reservation timing to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction
• Uphold the restaurant’s standards of excellence in all guest interactions

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a reservationist or host in a high-volume, upscale or fine dining environment
• Proficiency with OpenTable (required)
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Keen attention to detail and guest preferences
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Availability needs to be during the day 9-5 or 11-7
