Planned Parenthood Mar Monte seeks a Health Services Specialist I for the Reno Health Center to provide direct patient care in health center services, including reproductive health, and to support billing and check-in/check-out processes.

The role requires clear communication, accuracy in documentation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position at Reno, NV.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to communicate with diverse backgrounds.
• Proficient with Windows-based applications; eager to learn new software.
• Ability to multitask in a busy outpatient setting while maintaining accuracy and patient respect.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct service in health center areas including reproductive health and related services.
• Provide patients with information about Planned Parenthood services, contraception options, and funding sources.
• Screen financial, medical and social history with proper documentation.
• Communicate professionally about services, payments, and scheduling; secure payment and insurance information.
• Enter accurate patient information into the Electronic Practice Management System (EPM).
• Ensure charges are entered and posted; complete billing tasks by end of day.
