Job summary

Disabled Veteran Solutions (DVS) is seeking passionate and committed Customer Care Advisors to join our mission-driven team. This is a full-time, remote position with a Monday–Friday schedule and 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM ET.

You will support clients across insurance operations, delivering empathetic service and problem-solving in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. We provide a comprehensive seven-week orientation and ongoing training, plus full benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in insurance operations or remote roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with web-based platforms and tools.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-time, remote
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM (Eastern Time)
• Training: Comprehensive 7-week orientation with full training and ongoing support

Requirements

• Excellent active listening and problem-solving skills
• Ability to efficiently manage multiple systems and tasks while maintaining a professional and empathetic tone
• A genuine passion for improving the lives of others
• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance operations, remote medical or technical related role or a related field

Preferred Experience

• Experience in healthcare, insurance, social work, or mental health
• Familiarity with medical terminology and health benefit plans
• Proven success in remote customer facing role, especially in complex, high-volume environments

Position details

• Start date: Hiring for multiple start dates in November and January.
• Schedule: 8-hour shift. Training: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Eastern Time).
• Pay: $18.00/hour starting rate / $19.00/hour starting rate for bilingual candidates; plus bonus opportunities.

A pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check are required prior to employment.

Salary: $18 - $19 per hour
