Job summary

Bally's Corporation in Chicago is seeking an HR Administrative Assistant to provide day-to-day support to the Human Resources department, helping with questions and guiding complex matters to specialists.

You will assist with the new hire process, enter and maintain employee data in HR systems, and prepare routine HR documents.

This role requires discretion, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related HR education preferred.
  • Previous administrative, customer service, or HR experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; service-oriented.
  • Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn HR systems.
  • Professional attitude in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provides day-to-day administrative support to the Bally's Chicago Human Resources department.
  • Assists with the new hire process, including completion of employment documentation.
  • Maintains accurate personnel files, records, and HR documentation.
  • Supports HR programs, forms, enrollments, and general requests.
  • Assists with coordinating team member events and engagement activities.
  • Communicates professionally with team members, leaders, vendors, and business partners.
  • Maintains confidentiality of team member and company information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Provides day-to-day administrative support to the Bally's Chicago Human Resources department.
  • Serves as a resource for team members by assisting with general HR questions and directing more complex matters to the appropriate HR team member.
  • Assists with the new hire process, including completion and processing of required employment documentation.
  • Enters and maintains accurate team member and applicant information in HR systems and databases.
  • Processes personnel documentation related to new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, and other employment changes.
  • Assists with team member badging and other employment-related requirements.
  • Maintains organized and accurate personnel files, records, and HR documentation.
  • Assists team members with HR programs, forms, enrollments, and general requests.
  • Supports new hire activities and other HR initiatives that help create a welcoming team member experience.
  • Assists with coordinating Bally's Chicago team member events, recognition programs, celebrations, and engagement activities.
  • Prepares routine HR correspondence, reports, documents, and other materials.
  • Provides administrative support for HR projects and programs as assigned.
  • Communicates professionally with team members, leaders, departments, vendors, and other business partners.
  • Maintains confidentiality of team member, applicant, and company information.
  • Ensures assigned HR processes are completed in accordance with Bally's Chicago policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Compensation
  • Target Rate: $21.00

  • Fast-paced, team-oriented environment with frequent interaction with team members and leaders throughout the property.
  • Requires the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Work is performed primarily in an office setting with occasional work throughout the property.
  • Must maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling team member and company information.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the property as needed.
  • Ability to perform routine office tasks, including typing, filing, and handling documents.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry light office materials and supplies.
