Job summary

Bally's in Dover, Delaware is seeking a detail-oriented Cash Handler to support the casino cash operations. You will remove and replace cash boxes, manage bill changers, and transport currency to the Cash Room while adhering to strict security and key control procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to pass a background check and obtain a DE Lottery license, and availability to work weekends, holidays, nights, and overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, nights and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to operate mechanical tools and equipment.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Remove cash boxes and open bill changer units using operations keys for accurate cash handling.
• Place alternate empty cash boxes into bill changers as required.
• Transport collected cash boxes to the Cash Room using appropriate equipment.
• Operate currency counting equipment to process currency from cash boxes and drop boxes.
• Package currency into predefined amounts for deposit by the Cashiers’ Cage.

Job description

• Removes cash boxes and opens bill changer units using operations and security keys.
• Places set of alternate empty cash boxes into bill changers.
• Transports all collected cash boxes using towing equipment to the Cash Room.
• Operates automated currency counting equipment to count and process currency removed from the cash boxes and table game drop boxes.
• Responsible for packaging currency into predetermined amounts for later use by the Cashiers’ Cage for the deposit
• Complies with key control procedures
• Provides exceptional customer service as applicable
• Works safely, following all established safety rules and regulations
• Communicates effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests
• Follows all relevant policies and procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as schedule

Starting Compensation:

• $17.25/hr
